Built from evidence, not thin air

When you start a draft from an opportunity or a prompt, Recited does not ask a model to write "an article about X". It assembles an evidence pack first:

• the live AI answers for the target prompt, as actually captured
• the competitor pages those answers cite
• the hidden searches platforms ran, which become the skeleton of the outline

The draft is written against that pack, so it addresses the questions platforms actually ask and competes with the pages actually being cited.

Answer-first structure

Articles are written to be cited by AI, which means a different shape than classic blog posts:

• The direct answer comes first, not after an introduction.
• The body is organized around the real questions, in question-led sections.
• Comparisons, key takeaways, an FAQ, and a sources list follow.
• Claims stick to the evidence pack's sources, and the article carries a visible last-updated line, because platforms favor fresh, verifiable content.

There is no throat-clearing intro and no padded conclusion. Extractability is the goal: a platform should be able to lift the answer cleanly.

Drafting and review

Generation runs in the background; you can leave the page and come back. Between drafting and delivery, the article goes through automated review passes that check answer-readiness: does it lead with the answer, is it extractable, is it evidence-backed, is the tone neutral enough to be citable? Findings feed back into rewrites until the draft passes or stops improving.

Every prompt that writes prose also carries the same writing rules: varied sentence length, plain words, no stock phrases, no trailing summaries, so the draft reads like a person wrote it. The editor's Human tab scores the article against those patterns and can rewrite what misses, with names, numbers and links protected through every change.

The editor then shows its own review checklist alongside the text, so you can see what the checks think while you edit.

The editor

Articles live under Growth > Articles and open in the built-in editor. It is a full writing surface: edit any section, restructure, rewrite in your voice. The sidebar holds the article's details, its tags, and the publish controls.

Two human passes are worth making before publishing:

1. Facts. The draft only claims what its sources support, but you know things the sources do not. Add the numbers and specifics only you have; concrete detail is what makes a page worth citing.
2. Voice. Make it sound like your brand. Answer-first structure and personality are not in conflict.

After publishing

Publishing makes the article available through the article API for your site to pull. Then watch the target prompt's deltas over the following scans to see whether the answer moved.
